CERTIFICATION TYPE

A CED is a "Certified NOAA ENCŪ Distributor" who is permitted to download NOAA ENCŪs, perform exact copying, and redistribute those copies of NOAA ENCŪs.

A CEVAD is a "Certified NOAA ENC Value Added Distributor" who is permitted to reformat official NOAA ENCŪs into a System Electronic Navigational Chart (SENC) using type-approved software, and may distribute the SENC.
